People frequently ask "Does the Mayor get to be in lots of parades?"
Not really, but the Celebrate Lafayette parade is definitely one not to miss!
I will be walking (not going to have a "float" this time since part of the goal is to keep the parade "green!") and would love to have my supporters join me in walking and handing out candy, etc.
I'll provide the bagels and coffee/juice to give you the proper amount of energy! Let me know if you would like to join the fun, I'd love to have you.
Parade is at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 26. Starts in the old Albertson's parking lot. Will post more when I have final details!
